The American Academy of PAs have officially voted to start a nation-wide push for independent practice rights. The way I interpreted it was essentially the right to practice medicine fully independently in any specialty just like any residency/fellowship-trained, board-certified physician. That is my interpretation, but I will give you the exact text of their resolution. They are calling for "Optimal Team Practice." What does that mean?:

ExamKrackers & Kaplan Sets Missing Content
Hello,
After research on the forums, I'm having trouble finding the specific content that is missing from either EK or Kaplan book sets, If any are missing. For anyone who has read the EK 10th edition and or Kaplan 3rd edition, is there any missing content and if so what should I supplement with? Also, did you prefer one subject from one set versus the other? Thanks.

American high school to UK Med School?
I am currently a junior in high school in California. My GPA is sadly very average, probably around 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. However, I have always had a very loaded schedule with lots of honors and AP courses, I am an active member of the Medical Science Academy at my school, have over 100 hours of volunteer time at UCLA medical center and recently went to Poland with Gap Medics to shadow in the local hospital.

Important Info for new Accessions - GI Bill
I've been going through TAP (separation) class this week and although I've always known the GI Bill was a good deal I never really knew how good it could be for us docs. GI Bill applies for any active duty unless you recieved a commission from a service academy or ROTC (unfortunately that's the case for me).
GI Bill is an automatic program. You have to expressly decline the program in writing. DO NOT DO THIS. You will have $100/month taken out of your first years salary (total $1200)....

Im going through the destroyer but wanted a detailed reference to look up any concepts i dont remember. Or should i just stick to the chads/mikes or even khan academy videos for concepts bc they will provide the right level of detail for the dat?

Hello all,
I watched all of the Khan videos and made anki cards on every term, psychologist, theory, etc. I've taken 2 FL's (1 from NS and 1 from Altius) and have come across NUMEROUS terms I've never seen before.
