Remedial math
Hello, thank you in advance for answering my question. I'm starting community college in June, and i can't decide if i should study on Khan Academy for the next two months to take a placement exam to try to skip college algebra into trig, or should i take the placement exam sooner and possibly end up in a remedial math course (whatever is lower than College Algebra). Would med schools look down on taking remedial math courses? opinions please. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Hello all!
I've been stalking through SDN for a couple years now, but this is the first time I've posted.
I'm currently a Cadet at a service academy (Kinesiology major), junior, currently in the final roster for the pre-medical program here. Basically the program is that you complete at least the required 4 courses (orgo I, II, human phys, and Biology), score at least a 509 on your MCAT and maintain at least a 3.4 GPA to remain competative for the HPSP scholarship.

New MCAT testing date! Is my tentative plan a good idea?
I recently decided to move my June MCAT date to September. I will be participating in a summer program from May to June, which limits my studying hours. (I'm applying next year.)
Here's the plan:
