Treatment-resistant and multi-therapy-resistant criteria for bipolar depression: consensus definition.

CONCLUSIONS: The proposed TRBD and MTRBD criteria may provide an important signpost to help clinicians, researchers and stakeholders in judging how and when to consider new non-standard treatments.
