Effect of Age on Clinical Outcomes Following On-/Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass: Meta-Analysis and Meta-Regression
Conclusion: Patients undergoing CABG are becoming older and may suffer from multiple comorbidities increasing their risk profile. However, with respect to short-term clinical outcomes, the patient ’ s age does not help in determining whether off- or on-pump is superior.

Robotically assisted coronary artery bypass graft surgery versus drug ‐eluting stents for patients with stable isolated proximal left anterior descending disease
ConclusionR ‐CABG offers lower r‐TLR rate and better angina relief compared with DES for revascularization in patients with isolated proximal LAD stenosis and there was no difference in mortality, MI, stroke, and MACCE between them.

Impact of time factor and patient characteristics on the efficacy of PCI vs CABG for left main coronary disease: A meta-analysis
Conclusions: The long-term benefit of CABG vs PCI on MACCE in patients with left main coronary disease is consistent across patients with different clinical characteristics. The relative benefit of CABG on MACCE is driven by that of CABG on unplanned revascularization, and becomes greater as time goes on.

Geographical variations in left main coronary artery revascularisation: a pre-specified analysis of the EXCEL trial
CONCLUSIONS: In the EXCEL trial, the relative risks for the 30-day and five-year primary composite outcome of death, MI or stroke after PCI versus CABG were consistent irrespective of geography. However, five-year rates of IDR after PCI were significantly higher in NA centres, a finding the Heart Team and patients should consider when making treatment decisions. Ticagrelor with and without aspirin in patients with a prior coronary artery bypass graft undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention: the TWILIGHT-CABG study
CONCLUSIONS: In high-risk patients with prior CABG, ticagrelor monotherapy reduced bleeding without compromising ischaemic outcomes compared with ticagrelor plus aspirin.PMID:35979636 | DOI:10.4244/EIJ-D-22-00319

Long ‐term outcomes of percutaneous versus surgical revascularization in patients with diabetes and left main coronary artery disease: A meta‐analysis of randomized controlled trials
ConclusionIn this meta-analysis with more than 1000 patients with diabetes and unprotected LMCAD followed for a minimum of 3 years, the incidence of repeat revascularization was higher among those treated with PCI, whereas the risk of stroke was higher in patients treated with CABG.

Safety and Efficacy of Tirofiban Bridging Therapy During a Hybrid Carotid Artery Stenting and Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting Surgery: A Single-Center Study
This study evaluated the safety and efficacy of tirofiban as a bridging therapy after a hybrid CAS + CABG surgery.METHODS: Between June 2018 and February 2022, a total of 45 patients undergoing a hybrid CAS + off-pump CABG surgery were divided into either the control group (standard dual antiplatelet therapy postsurgery, n = 27) or the tirofiban group (tirofiban bridging + dual antiplatelet therapy, n = 18). The 30-day outcome was compared between the 2 groups, and the primary end points included stroke, postoperative myocardial infarction, and death.FINDINGS: Two patients (7.41%) from the control group experienced a strok...

Percutaneous Coronary Intervention vs Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery for Left Main Disease in Patients With and Without Acute Coronary Syndromes: A Pooled Analysis of 4 Randomized Clinical Trials
CONCLUSION AND RELEVANCE: Among largely stable patients undergoing left main revascularization and with predominantly low to intermediate coronary anatomical complexity, those with ACS had higher rates of early death. Nonetheless, rates of all-cause mortality through 5 years were similar with PCI vs CABG in this high-risk subgroup. The relative advantages and disadvantages of PCI vs CABG in terms of early stroke and long-term spontaneous MI and repeat revascularization were consistent regardless of ACS status.TRIAL REGISTRATION: ClinicalTrials.gov Identifiers: NCT00114972, NCT00422968, NCT01496651, NCT01205776.PMID:3725659...
