Effects of High Dose of Atorvastatin for Preventing Periprocedural Ischemic Brain Damage in Patients Undergoing Carotid Artery Stenting (PICAS) in China: A Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial
This study is the first to assess whether high-dose atorvastatin treatment is capable of reducing the incidence of perioperative cerebral ischemic injury in patients of Chinese ethnicity undergoing CAS. One-Stop MR Neurovascular Vessel Wall Imaging With a 48-Channel Coil System at 3 T
Conclusion: A 48-channel coil system was developed and demonstrated superior performance for vessel wall imaging at the intracranial and cervical carotid arteries compared with a commercial 36-channel coil. Significance: The 48-channel coil system is potentially useful for clinical diagnostics, especially when attempting to diagnose ischemic stroke.

Altered Brain Regional Homogeneity Following Contralateral Acupuncture at Quchi (LI 11) and Zusanli (ST 36) in Ischemic Stroke Patients with Left Hemiplegia: An fMRI Study
ConclusionsAcupuncture at one side could stimulate bilateral regions. CAT could evoke the gyrus which was possibly related to motor recovery from stroke. A promising indicator of neurobiological deficiencies could be represented by ReHo values in post-stroke patients.

External Validation of the Diagnosis of TIA (DOT) Score for Identification of TIA in a Chinese Population
Conclusion: In patients with transient neurological symptoms, our findings showed DOT score performed relatively good calibration and discrimination to identify of TIA in a Chinese Population. As a novel tool of TIA identification, further validations are needed in multiple centers with large samples in China.
