Conclusions: Our results suggest that only a minority of patients with HU/E and S-HF have obstructive CAD. It may be possible to stratify patients using demographic and non-invasive tests to direct only those with high likelihood of O-CAD for coronary angiography. These results should be validated in large registry populations.

Outcomes of Unrelated Donor Stem Cell Transplant with Post-Transplant Cyclophosphamide for Graft-versus-Host Disease Prophylaxis in Patients with Severe Sickle Cell Disease
Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a hemoglobinopathy affecting 1 in every 500 African American newborns and an estimated 100,000 persons in the United States [1]. Vascular occlusion caused by the sickled RBCs leads to decreased perfusion in target organs and manifests clinically as vaso-occlusive pain crisis, stroke (cerebral infarction), pulmonary restrictive disease, and pulmonary hypertension [2]. Despite advances in supportive care, including the use of hydroxyurea (HU), RBC transfusion, and iron chelation therapy, patients with SCD continue to experience considerable morbidity and mortality in their lifetime.

Semi-quantitative assessment of pulmonary arterial hypertension associated with congenital heart disease through myocardial perfusion imaging.
CONCLUSION: Semi-quantitative MPI has high diagnostic value in evaluating the severity level of pulmonary arterial hypertension in patients with congenital heart disease. The diagnostic performance of MPI at pre-treatment patients was superior to that at post-treatment. More cases need to be included for further study.
