Association between dietary patterns and stroke in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in China: a propensity score-matched analysis
CONCLUSION: This study provides sufficient evidence to support the dietary intervention strategies to prevent stroke effectively. Health behavior of young patients with ischemic stroke in Estonia: A score of five factors
ConclusionsBefore stroke, young patients displayed significantly worse health behavior than the general population. The largest differences were found for smoking and obesity, and a cumulation of risk factors was observed via the HBSR score.

Abstract Two-stroke petrol engines find wide applications in the areas like chain saws, weed cutters, and power sprayers because of their compactness and higher power to weight ratio. In the present study, the feasibility of using vegetable-based lubricant instead of ordinary mineral 2 T oil is investigated. M15 (85% petrol + 15% methanol) and E15 (85% petrol + 15% ethanol) blend with gasoline are used as the fuel. Experiments were carried out in a two-stroke air-cooled engine equipped with a rope brake dynamometer. Mediterranean-style diet and intracranial large artery stenosis in the Northern Manhattan Study
Intracranial large artery stenosis (ICAS) is one of the most common causes of stroke worldwide.1 Among stroke-free community-dwelling adults, ICAS is prevalent, associated with modifiable vascular risk factors, and confers risk of incident vascular events.2 Given prior work linking a Mediterranean-style diet (MeDi), which is rich in fruits, vegetables, fish, whole grains, legumes, and nuts, to reduced risk of vascular conditions and cardiovascular events,3,4 we hypothesized MeDi may also be protective against ICAS.
