Comparison of the CHADS2, CHA2DS2-VASc and R2CHADS2 Scores in Japanese Patients with Non-valvular Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation Not Receiving Anticoagulation Therapy.
Conclusion In Japanese patients with PNVAF, the CHADS2, CHA2DS2-VASc, and R2CHADS2 scores are all useful for the risk stratification of IS/SE cases.

CONCLUSIONS: This study has provided the largest Japanese dataset for long-term follow-up of RA. Although RA in calcified lesions appears feasible with a high rate of procedural success, a high incidence of MACE was observed.

Utilization of Anticoagulant and Antiplatelet Agents Among Patients With Atrial Fibrillation Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention - Retrospective Cohort Study Using a Nationwide Claims Database in Japan.
CONCLUSIONS: Among Japanese AF patients who underwent PCI, prescriptions for antiplatelet agents were more common than those for anticoagulant agents. The majority of study participants were classified as high risk, suggesting a need for a new risk classification that reflects the risk profiles of Japanese patients.

E-088 Investigation of safety termination of antiplatelet therapy after lvis stent-assisted cerebral aneurysm coiling
Conclusion
Termination of AT at 3 months postoperatively did not result in ischemic events among patients who underwent LSAC. Neointimal formation of Lvis stent may be a criterion for termination of AT without increasing the risk of ischemic event.

Plasminogen (Plg) is a precursor of plasmin that degrades fibrin. A race-specific A620T mutation in Plg, also known as Plg-Tochigi, originally identified in a patient with recurrent venous thromboembolism, causes dysplasminogenemia with reduced plasmin activity. High-Risk Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease in a Real-World Employed Japanese Population: Prevalence, Cardiovascular Event Rates, and Costs.
CONCLUSIONS: ASCVD is not rare in Japan, even within a relatively young population of employed persons. Further, the total direct first-year cost burden of ASCVD in the employed Japanese population is high. These data may inform future economic assessments of new ASCVD treatments.
