Overexpression of Protein Phosphatase 2 Regulatory Subunit B"Alpha Promotes Glycolysis by Regulating Hexokinase 1 in Hepatocellular Carcinoma
CONCLUSION: Our findings showed the correlation of PPP2R3A and HK1 in the glycolysis of HCC, which reveals a new mechanism for the oncogenic roles of PPP2R3A in cancer.PMID:35945177 | DOI:10.3967/bes2022.082

Cantharidin Inhibits Proliferation of Liver Cancer by Inducing DNA Damage via KDM4A-Dependent Histone H3K36 Demethylation
CONCLUSION: Cantharidin can inhibit the growth and promote apoptosis of hepatocellular carcinoma cells. Meanwhile, cantharidin can induce DNA damage in HCC cells. Mechanism studies have shown that cantharidin induces DNA damage through the demethylation of KDM4A-dependent histone H3K36.PMID:35860003 | PMC:PMC9293552 | DOI:10.1155/2022/2197071

CYP27A1 inhibits proliferation and migration of clear cell renal cell carcinoma via activation of LXRs/ABCA1
Exp Cell Res. 2022 Jul 7:113279. doi: 10.1016/j.yexcr.2022.113279. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTCholesterol homeostasis plays an important role in the maintenance of normal body functions. CYP27A1 is a key enzyme known to regulate cholesterol homeostasis, which catalyzes the conversion of cholesterol to 27-HC and has been implicated in the occurrence and metastasis of various cancer types. The present study aimed to explore the regulatory role of CYP27A1 in the development of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). In particular, the effect of CYP27A1 on the proliferation and migration of ccRCC cells was investigated. Th...

Silenced LINC01134 Enhances Oxaliplatin Sensitivity by Facilitating Ferroptosis Through GPX4 in Hepatocarcinoma
ConclusionsWe identified LINC01134/Nrf2/GPX4 as a novel and critical axis to regulate HCC growth and progression. Targeting GPX4, knocking down LINC01134 or Nrf2 could be a potential therapeutic strategy for HCC.

Abstracts of Presentations at the Association of Clinical Scientists 143 < sup > rd < /sup > Meeting Louisville, KY May 11-14,2022
Conclusion: These assays are suitable for routine diagnostic. The UltraFast NextGenPCR is the fastest with average time (30mins), followed by Agilent (2 hrs) and MassArray (6hrs). Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to examine, measure and compare results from different assays for SARS detection, evaluate and diagnose accurately, as well as being able to plan, organize and recommend a diagnostic procedure for diagnostic laboratory. Key words: SARS-CoV-2, RNA extraction, RT-PCR, limit of detection, quantification cycle, COVID-19, in vitro diagnostic tests, Agilent, Massarray, Ultrafast. [20] From t...
