Input –Output Functions in Human Heads Obtained With Cochlear Implant and Transcranial Electric Stimulation
ConclusionThese results provide a novel objective measure of electric stimulation in the human head, which can help to optimize stimulation parameters that improve neural excitation of deep structures by reducing the influence of current spread.Conflict of InterestThe authors declare that the research was conducted in the absence of any commercial or financial relationships that could be construed as a potential conflict of interest. Pulsed Radiofrequency Neuromodulation Contributes to Activation of Platelet ?Rich Plasma in In Vitro Conditions
ConclusionsWe confirmed that PRF may activate PRP without additional platelet activators. So, a combination of both methods PRF and PRP application may provide a more effective opportunity for tissue regeneration in dentistry, surgery, dermatology, or in orthopedics. Factors Associated With Implantable Pulse Generator Site Pain: A Multicenter Cross ?Sectional Study
ConclusionsThe incidence of IPG site pain is an important complication of invasive neuromodulation. The anatomic location of the IPG placement does not appear to affect the incidence or severity of IPG site pain. However, the presence of a pre-implant chronic pain disorder does appear to affect the frequency and severity of IPG site pain. (Source: Neuromodulation: Technology at the Neural Interface)

A Review of the Evidence and Current Applications of Portable Translingual Neurostimulation Technology
ConclusionsTLNS is a promising treatment modality for various chronic neurological conditions that are often refractory to conventional therapy. However, TLNS technology remains largely investigational as high-quality RCTs are still required to elucidate efficacy, optimal dosages, necessary treatment durations, and treatment durability. Further research to develop an appropriate control group is needed for scientifically valid comparisons of TLNS. (Source: Neuromodulation: Technology at the Neural Interface)

Examining the Need to Standardize Implanted Stimulator Connectors: NANS Survey Results
ConclusionThose who responded to our survey support the development of standard connectors for implanted stimulators, with voluntary compliance by manufacturers, to mitigate the need for adapters and facilitate interchanging components when appropriate. Other advantages to patients and manufacturers might accrue from the adoption of standards, as technology evolves and diversifies. (Source: Neuromodulation: Technology at the Neural Interface)
