CONCLUSIONS: Our data suggest that the use of the Onyx 2.0 mm DES to treat CAD in very small vessels (<2.25 mm) is feasible and safe, and the clinical outcomes were similar to those of the Onyx 2.25 mm group.PMID:34224385

This study aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of this treatment regimen.MethodsA multicentre, prospective, randomized, controlled superiority trial will be conducted in 530 statin-na ïve MI patients. All eligible patients will be randomized to the evolocumab group (140 mg subcutaneously injected once before revascularization + 14 days after the first dose) or the control group (no evolocumab injection). Impact of high-dose statin on cardiovascular outcomes in real-world patients with ST-elevation acute myocardial infarction
AbstractLittle is known about the impact of a high-dose statin on cardiovascular outcomes after ST-elevation acute myocardial infarction (STEMI) in real-world Japanese patients. Between July 2011 and June 2017, 1110 consecutive STEMI patients underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention at our hospital and were discharged. A high-dose statin was administered in 117 patients (10.5%) and non-high-dose statin was administered in 947 patients (85.3%). Pitavastatin Combined with Ezetimibe Treatment was an Effective Approach to Non-IRA Lesion of ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarc-tion Patients with Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.

Impact of LR11 as Residual Risk on Long-Term Clinical Outcomes in Patients with Coronary Artery Disease Treated with Statins after First Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.
This study included 223 consecutive CAD patients (age, 64.5 ± 9.6 years; male, 81.2%) treated with statin after first PCI between March 2003 and December 2004 at our institution. Patients were stratified to two groups according to LR11 levels (median).
