Telehealth as an Effective Care Delivery Method During the COVID-19 Pandemic for the Rhode Island Behavioral Health Population
This study investigated (1) if telehealth allowed for patients who seek mental health services to maintain visit frequency and (2) if subpopulations were less likely to utilize telehealth. We used descriptive statistics to analyze the change in total number of visits, in-person visits from pre-waiver to post-waiver, and a multivariate linear regression to identify relationships between demographics and telehealth utilization. Education and implementation of home spirometry in an adolescent cystic fibrosis population
CONCLUSION: Home spirometry, when properly implemented with structured education and active participant engagement, has potential to provide meaningful data and feedback to CF care teams. Implementation of this process requires substantial resources and active participation from an adolescent population who are at higher risk for non-adherence. Surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 infection based on self-administered swabs, Denmark, May to July 2022: evaluation of a pilot study
ConclusionParticipants successfully performed self-swabs and answered symptom questionnaires. Also, WGS analysis of samples was possible. This study examines how children's routine mediated the associations between parent-child relationships and child adjustment problems during the fifth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in Hong Kong, when schools were suspended. The study collected data from 937 parents (87.8% mothers) of children aged 5-12 (M = 7.35 years, SD = 2.09; 50.5% girls).
