Burden of cardiovascular disease from 1990 to 2017 in Henan Province, China
CONCLUSIONS: The absolute burden of CVDs in Henan is still high, although age-standardized DALYs declined between 1990 and 2017. A Single-Center Clinical Study to Evaluate Shenxiong Glucose Injection Combined with Edaravone in the Treatment of Acute Large-Area Cerebral Infarction
CONCLUSIONS: In addition to the routine basic treatment of acute large-area cerebral infarction, the addition of Shenxiong glucose injection combined with edaravone injection can improve platelet aggregation and reduce inflammation by affecting P-selectin, D-dimer, and FIB. Potential Therapeutic Effects of Sodium Glucose-linked Cotransporter 2 Inhibitors in Stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: It is unlikely that SGLT inhibitors have a positive or negative effect on stroke risk, but the question that remains unanswered is whether SGLT inhibitors can yield a protective effect after acute ischemic stroke. Changes in electrolyte concentrations alter the impedance during ischemia-reperfusion injury in rat brain
In this study, changes in the bio-impedance spectroscopy using a two-electrode method with varying frequencies from 100 to 35  kHz have been assessed in a model of global cerebral ischemia in anesthetized rats during normal, occlusion and reperfusion conditions. Conclusion: Using three different strategies to either prevent formation or enhance elimination of O2⋅_ during the post-asphyxial period, we saw both reduced leukocyte adherence and preserved BBB function with treatment.
