Strongly considering concierge
Please spare me the ethical side of things. I love what I do and would do it for free. Traditional Primary care is getting gobbled up by corporate medicine and the trend will only continue.
I have been absorbed in to the machine. They’re buying up the entire town, which had previously been a fantastic smaller town medical community with specialists ready to see all patients regardless of insurance.
Im forced in to at least 3-5 new patients a day, on top of my already unmanageable census...

No Teaching/Tutoring? Wetlab vs Research?
Hello SDN!
I've returned with a few more questions just to plan out my next openings.
1. I don't have teaching/tutoring experience planed for the near future, and I don't have any, is this a problem?
2. I have a very disproportionate shadowing spread, something like this (changed slightly for anonymity): 90 primary care, 15 specialty, 15 surgical specialty. Is this alright? Is there too big of a primary care overwhelm?

Is clinical volunteering required? What about primary care shadowing?
How important is clinical volunteering? I know it is expected, however, I didn't have the opportunity early due to covid, and had a job in the hospital by the time it was allowed, so let it slide. I have about 700 clinical hours working as a CNA, and a couple hundred volunteer hours mostly related to tutoring and teaching, which a lot of my other ecs surround.
