Molecules, Vol. 28, Pages 4154: Characteristics, Isolation Methods, and Biological Properties of Aucubin
Jayani Aucubin is an iridoid glycoside widely spread in the families Cornaceae, Garryaceae, Orobanchaceae, Globulariaceae, Eucommiaceae, Scrophulariaceae, Plantaginaceae, and Rubiaceae. This review is intended to provide data on the physicochemical characteristics, isolation methods, and biological activities of aucubin and its producing plants. Aucubin is unstable and can be deglycosylated into its aglycone, aucubigenin. Various chromatographic methods (column chromatography, vacuum liquid chromatography, medium pressure liquid chromatography, and high-performance liquid chromatography) have been used together to iso...

Caudal epidural steroid injections with paracoccygeal injections for management of postpartum coccydynia
We report two cases of postpartum coccydynia for which invasive treatment with caudal epidural steroid injections (ESI) with paracoccygeal injections provided adequate pain relief and improvement in activities of daily life (ADLs). Coccydynia, or pain in the coccyx, can significantly affect ADLs and its prevalence is five-times higher in women compared with men, likely due to the straining of coccygeal ligaments or even fractures of the coccyx experienced during childbirth.1 –2 Other risk factors include higher body mass index, forceps-use during delivery, multiparity, age>40 years, and the coccyx morphology. Prevalence of pelvic floor dysfunction in recreational athletes: a cross-sectional survey
ConclusionHigh levels of all PFD were reported but no significant association was found between recreational exercise and symptoms. However, data suggest that women modify their exercise regimes as required. Few symptomatic women sought professional help. (Source: International Urogynecology Journal and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction)

"Living in a vacuum": Lived experiences of maternal near-miss among women with placenta accreta spectrum
CONCLUSIONS: It seems that mothers with PAS need to be covered by integrated and well-organised psycho-social support from the time they are diagnosed with the complication until long after delivery due to the high potentiality of maternal near miss.PMID:37158037 | DOI:10.1080/02646838.2023.2211595 (Source: Journal of Reproductive and Infant Psychology)
