Does this count as physician shadowing?
I've been volunteering at a hospice for a while and have attended a bunch of the three-hour long meetings between the nurses and the doctor, mostly because I found it utterly fascinating. Does this count as shadowing? I never asked the doctor if I could shadow him, but he did ok me sitting in on the meetings, and the meetings make up the bulk of his hours at the hospice (or at least I think so). I've definitely sat in on more than a dozen meetings, so this would help out a lot.

Questions for psychotherapists about branching out into Psych NP
In scouring this forum I've seen a couple psychologists mention going back to school to attain a psych NP to allow them the ability to prescribe. Has anyone had or known of any experiences like these? Wouldn't this make for a great business model and niche for private practice if you could find an agreeable psychiatrist to pair with? Or one could possibly work for a hospital as a nurse and pursue a small psychotherapy practice on the side...

Leaving current job
I am leaving my current job. What should I do with versed/fentanyl that were ordered for procedural IV sedation at the clinic under my DEA license? Dispose of them with nursing witnesses? Meds where infusion rate matters
Anyone have a list of meds where the infusion rate actually matters, preferably with the consequences of infusing too quickly? It seems like every med in the world is listed as "infuse over X minutes", which I know is mostly for nurses, but it would be nice to have a list for the ones that it actually matters.
To start:
Vancomycin - Histamine release, red man syndrome
Protamine - Histamine release, protamine reactions
Dexamethasone - Perineal burning, if awake

Hospital - how to get others to do đź’…
I am starting a new gig, no podiatrist before. A few PP people would come in and do outreach there and we're very busy not sure exactly what they were doing but certainly not wounds.
So I don't plan on doing nails (duh). I don't even want to open the door. Obviously as a new person I want all the initial patient visits and then pass them off. Telehealth work in PM & R
Is anyone doing tele-rehabilitation work either as their primary job or as a moonlighting/side job?
COVID opened the gates I think to people accepting and seeing the value of telemedicine, but I'm wondering if there will be more opportunities.
I know SFN consulting is something more of my colleagues are getting into. Could one do this via telelhealth, with say the help with a nurse or MA on site?
