Divorce and risk of suicide attempt: a Swedish national study
CONCLUSIONS: The association between divorce and risk of suicide attempt is complex, varying as a function of sex and time-related variables. Given evidence that the observed association is due in part to a causal pathway from divorce to suicide attempt, intervention or prevention efforts, such as behavioral therapy, could be most effective early in the divorce process, and in particular among females and those whose marriages were of short duration.PMID:38084643 | DOI:10.1017/S0033291723003513 (Source: Psychological Medicine)

Brain functional changes across mood states in bipolar disorder: from a large-scale network perspective
CONCLUSIONS: Our findings identify a distributed pattern of large-scale network disturbances in the unique context of (hypo)mania and thus provide new evidence for our understanding of the neural mechanism of BD.PMID:38084586 | DOI:10.1017/S0033291723002453 (Source: Psychological Medicine)

Dynamic structure-function coupling across three major psychiatric disorders
CONCLUSIONS: These findings suggest both transdiagnostic and illness-specific alterations in the dynamic structure-function relationship of large-scale brain networks across MDD, BD, and SZ, providing new insights and potential biomarkers into the neurodevelopmental basis underlying the behavioral and cognitive deficits observed in these disorders.PMID:38084608 | DOI:10.1017/S0033291723003525 (Source: Psychological Medicine)

The effect of a low-calorie diet on depressive symptoms in individuals with overweight or obesity: a systematic review and meta-analysis of interventional studies
CONCLUSIONS: There is evidence that LCDs may reduce depressive symptoms in people with overweight or obesity in the short term. Future well-controlled intervention studies, including a non-active control group, and longer-term follow-ups, are warranted in order to make more definitive conclusions.PMID:38084632 | DOI:10.1017/S0033291723003586 (Source: Psychological Medicine)
