8-Iso-prostaglandin F2 α as a biomarker of T2-low airway inflammation and remodeling in adult asthma

Rapid desensitization to monoclonal antibodies is a well-described method for readministering medications after certain types of hypersensitivity reactions in cases where no therapeutic alternatives are available1. Our institution follows a standardized, 12-step protocol developed and described by Castells when these medications must be given2. Urticarial Vasculitis - A Rare Clinical Presentation Of Hodgkin's Lymphoma
A 49-year-old male was admitted to the intensive care unit in June 2023 for symptoms of severe refractory idiopathic anaphylaxis. His symptoms began with acute diffuse urticaria, which progressed to lip angioedema, wheezing, dyspnea, dizziness, and pre-syncope. At initial evaluation in the emergency department he was hypotensive to 72/52 mm Hg requiring two rounds of intramuscular epinephrine and ultimately an epinephrine drip. These measures resolved his symptoms except for urticaria, for which he received a five day course of 40mg prednisone and 20mg cetirizine twice daily with improvement of his hives.
