Fetal indusium griseum is a possible biomarker of the regularity of brain midline development in 3T MR imaging: A  retrospective observational study
ConclusionsThe knowledge of developmental brain histology and fetal age allows us to predict the IG-visibility in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and use it as a biomarker to evaluate the morphogenesis of the brain midline. As a biomarker, IG is significant for post-mortem pathological examination by MRI. Therefore, in the clinical in  vivo imaging examination, IG should be anticipated when an assessment of the brain midline structures is needed in mid-gestation, including corpus callosum thickness measurements. Results of an international survey on the current organization of care for pregnant women with cancer
This research describes the outcomes of a survey distributed to physicians all over the world focusing on clinical experience with pregnant women with cancer, the organization of care and current gaps in knowledge. We included 249 responses from physicians working across 36 countries. Responses demonstrate a wide variation in the organization of care – generally lacking centralization, and the physicians’ acknowledgement of insufficient knowledge on the management of pregnant women with cancer. AbstractThe global incidence of cancer is increasing, including its incidence in women of reproductive age. Still, physicians ...

Likelihood of primary cesarean section following induction of labor in singleton cephalic pregnancies at term, compared with expectant management: An Australian population ‐based, historical cohort study
ConclusionsFuture studies are suggested to investigate further the association between IOL and other maternal and neonatal outcomes at each week of gestation in different maternal populations, before making any recommendation. (Source: Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica)

Neonatal outcome following metformin ‐treated gestational diabetes mellitus: A population‐based cohort study
ConclusionsThe risk of neonatal hypoglycemia appears to be comparable among offspring exposed to single metformin treatment and nutrition therapy alone, and the lower risk that we observed in favor of metformin is probably explained by a difference in supplemental feeding practices rather than metformin per se. By contrast, the lower risk favoring metformin exposure over insulin exposure was not explained by supplemental feeding. However, further investigations are required to determine whether the difference is an effect of metformin per se or mediated by other external factors. Effect of lung metastasis on the treatment and prognosis of patients with gestational trophoblastic neoplasia: A systematic review and meta ‐analysis
ConclusionsGTN patients with lung metastasis exhibited a higher risk of chemoresistance, relapse, and disease-specific death. Patients with lung metastasis among the Caucasian population had a higher risk of recurrence than Asian populations. Therefore, the presence of lung metastases might be considered as a high-risk factor for prognosis of GTN and deserves more attention in the choice of first-line chemotherapy regimens and follow-up.
