Vulvar cancer incidence and net survival in Sweden 1960 to 2019: A population ‐based national study
ConclusionsThe age-standardized incidence of vulvar cancer cases in Sweden was stable between 1960 and 2019. During the study period, an increase in adenocarcinoma and a decrease in malignant melanoma cases was found. Five-year net survival increased by 20 percent units during the study period. For squamous cell carcinoma, an increased age-specific 5-year net survival was observed for all age groups, apart for women aged ≥85. (Source: Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica)

Prevalence and determinants of perinatal mental disorders in women with gestational diabetes in New Zealand: Findings from a national longitudinal study
ConclusionsPerinatal mental disorders are common at time of diagnosis among women with gestational diabetes in New Zealand and had decreased by late pregnancy and at 6  months after birth. These disorders are more common among women with specific risk factors who may therefore benefit from additional support. (Source: Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica)

Gynecological cancer survivors' experiences with sexual health communication in nurse ‐led follow‐up consultations
ConclusionsWomen who have undergone treatment for gynecological cancer find communication with trained nurses regarding sexual health beneficial. We recommend integration of trained nurses in the follow-up team. The nurses should adjust communication according to each gynecological cancer survivor's unique understanding of sexuality and inform women with sexual health concerns at that end of treatment, that sexual health can improve during follow-up. Prevention of obstetric anal sphincter injuries with perineal support and lateral episiotomy: A historical cohort study
ConclusionsWe observed a long-lasting reduction in OASIS rates after implementation of preventive procedures. Lateral episiotomy was associated with lower OASIS rates in nulliparous women with an instrumental delivery. Special attention should be paid to deliveries with persistent OP position. Surgeon reported measures of stress and anxiety prior to and after elective gynecological surgery
ConclusionsWhen asked to reflect on stress experienced during surgery, our data show that stress during surgery is greater than anticipated for many surgical episodes. Self-reported stress symptoms commence prior to surgery and are more commonly reported by surgeons operating as primary surgeon and by those in training. Future research should focus on determinants of presurgical stress and examine when stressors become inhibitory to performance. (Source: Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica)

Management of fetuses with apparent normal growth and abnormal cerebroplacental ratio: A risk ‐based approach near term
ConclusionsFetuses near term may be evaluated according to the CPR and EFW defining four groups that present a progressive risk of IFC. Fetuses in pregnancies complicated by FRGP are likely to benefit from being delivered at 39  weeks of gestation. (Source: Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica)

Placental weight percentile curves in a Danish population
ConclusionsThese percentile curves may serve as a reference for other populations, and may be useful for other studies investigating the role of the placenta in relation to pregnancy outcomes, and health in later life. (Source: Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica)

Subsequent pregnancy outcomes after second trimester miscarriage or termination for medical/fetal reason: A systematic review and meta ‐analysis of observational studies
ConclusionsVery low certainty evidence suggests there may be an increased risk of preterm birth in a subsequent pregnancy after a late miscarriage. However, evidence is limited. Larger, higher quality cohort studies are needed to investigate this potential association. (Source: Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica)

First experience with the Hugo ™ robot‐assisted surgery system for endometriosis: A descriptive study
ConclusionsIn this pilot study, we found the Medtronic Hugo ™ RAS system safe and feasible for robot-assisted surgery for endometriosis. The advent of new robotic systems is welcomed to accelerate the development of technology that will advance surgical care for patients across the globe. Identification of depression and anxiety during pregnancy: A  systematic review and meta‐analysis of test accuracy
ConclusionsFindings from the meta-analysis suggest that the EPDS alone is not perfectly suitable for detection of major depressive disorder during pregnancy. Few studies have evaluated the other instruments, therefore, their usefulness for identification of women with depression and anxiety during pregnancy remains very uncertain. At present, case-identification with any tool may best serve as a complement to a broader dialogue between healthcare professionals and their patients. Adrenal volumes in fetuses delivering prior to 32  weeks' gestation: An MRI pilot study
ConclusionsAdrenal: body volume ratios are significantly larger in fetuses who go on to deliver preterm than those delivering at term. Adrenal volumes were not significantly larger, we hypothesize that this could be due to an adrenal atrophy in fetuses with fulminating chorioamnionitis. A straightforward relationship of adrenal size being increased prior to preterm birth should not be assumed. (Source: Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica)

Prevalence of lumbopelvic pain during pregnancy: A systematic review and meta ‐analysis of cross‐sectional studies
