GSE222022 Circulating miRNA analysis in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension patients, overexpression of miR-3168 downregulates BMPR2 and impairs angiogenesis in vitro
In conclusion, we found novel downregulated and upregulated microRNAs in idiopathic PAH patients. We developed a 3-microRNA signature for diagnosis and validated in vitro that miR-3168 targets BMPR2 and impairs angiogenesis. (Source: GEO: Gene Expression Omnibus)

Radial artery pseudoaneurysm a rare complication after coronary angiography: A case report and systematic review of the reported cases
Key Clinical MessageThis is a case of 83  years old male who had radial artery pseudoaneurysm after cardiac catheterization. The diagnosis was through Doppler ultrasound and the patient was treated with thrombin injection and reported good outcomes. The literature also included 41 cases of pseudoaneurysm after catheterization. The mean a ge of patients was 68.5 years with a male prevalence of 49%. Onset of pseudoaneurysm ranged from 0 days (directly after the catheterization) to 150 days with a median of 5 days. Systematic application of SICA-PED protocol for central venous catheterization in neonates: A prospective clinical study on 104 cases
CONCLUSION: The results of this prospective study strengthen the feasibility and efficacy of the SICA-Ped Protocol. Demonstrating that the systematic application of the evidence-based seven-step implantation strategy increases the success rate, minimizes early and late complications, which result in increased patient safety.PMID:38539039 | DOI:10.1177/11297298241239998 (Source: The Journal of Vascular Access)
