Association between urban-rural location and prevalence of type 2 diabetes and impaired fasting glucose in West Africa: a cross-sectional population-based epidemiological study
Conclusion The prevalence of both T2DM and IFG was more than two times as high in urban areas compared with rural areas in West Africa. Behavioural risk factors are common among urban populations, with ongoing urbanisation expected to drive increases in the prevalence of T2DM. Durability of the deltamethrin-treated polypropylene long-lasting net LifeNet ® in a pyrethroid resistance area in south western Benin: A phase III trial

Exploring the association between household access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services and common childhood diseases using data from the 2017-2018 Demographic and Health Survey in Benin: focus on diarrhoea and acute respiratory infection
Conclusion We suggest reinforcing household access to basic sanitation services to combat diarrhoea in children under 5 years. Further research is needed on the effects of WASH interventions on diarrhoea and acute respiratory infection in children under 5 years. (Source: BMJ Open)
