Indigenous communities and influenza: protocol for a systematic review and meta-analysis
The objective of this paper is to describe the protocol to be used in a review and meta-analysis of the literature on Indigenous groups and influenza. Using this protocol as a guide, a future study will provide a comprehensive historical overview of pre-COVID impact of influenza on Indigenous groups by combining data from the last five influenza pandemics and seasonal influenza up to date.Methods/principle findingsThe review will include peer-reviewed original studies published in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian. Nurses ´ Performance: The Importance of Personal Resources for Coping with Stressors
This study highlight the role played by self-efficacy as the main personal resource in buffering the effect of stressors on nurses´ performance. Resilience only becomes crucial in individuals with low levels of self-efficacy beliefs. Quality of Care for Latinx Children with Asthma: Associations with Language Concordance and Continuity of Care
Conclusion: Overall, Latinx children regardless of COC category or language concordance were more likely to receive the influenza vaccine. English-preferring Latinx children with persistent asthma received fewer inhaled steroid prescriptions compared with non-Hispanic White children. Traumatic stress symptoms among Spanish healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic: a prospective study
CONCLUSIONS: TSSs among Spanish healthcare workers active during the COVID-19 pandemic are common and associated with various pandemic-related stressful experiences.
