Statin administration ameliorates ischemia-induced overactive bladder with improvement of blood flow and anti-inflammatory effects in rats

CONCLUSIONS: The present results suggest that statins are effective in OAB caused by arteriosclerosis and ischemia. The mechanism of their effects involves improved bladder blood flow and decreased bladder inflammation.PMID:38426742 | DOI:10.1002/nau.25433
