Recurrent respiratory infections in Down Syndrome: keep in mind bronchoscopy
Conclusion: Airway anomalies are a common finding in DS population. Therefore, a complete diagnostic work-up requires a high degree of suspicion and a low threshold for an endoscopic evaluation, when approaching IRR in these patients.
