A Comparison of 18F-FDG PET/CT and 68Ga-PSMA PET/CT in Detecting Osteonecrosis of the Jaw in a Patient With Prostate Cancer
We present ONJ detected in a 65-year-old man with prostate cancer who underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT for metabolic characterization and to exclude a second primary malignancy of the liver lesion observed in 68Ga-PSMA PET/CT. ONJ has high metabolic activity on 18F-FDG PET/CT and no PSMA receptor activation on the 68Ga-PSMA PET/CT. CONCLUSIONS: Our findings show that pretreatment with ZOPRA can decrease the radioresistance of breast cancer cells at the molecular and cellular levels.
