What could I improve on (second round applying)
Hi everyone, I am a 22 yr female who in their first cycle got 3 rejections (UF, Auburn, Illinois) and 2 interviews for vet school(VMCVM, and Mississippi state). I was wondering if anyone could provide feedback on what I could improve on for next cycle in case I do not get into the schools I interviewed with. I ideally would like to get into my in state next cycle (UF).

Dentistry Externships?
I am interested in doing an externship at a facility that has a reputable dentistry department, and also has the potential for a 1 year rotating internship. Spay neuter externship recommendations

Female Large Animal Vets- safety in regards to clients
Hello!
I’m interested in maybe going into large animal medicine, and I was wondering what safety for women vets was like in regards to safety against clients.
There have been several instances of clients attacking(physically and verbally)/ threatening vets in a traditional clinic setting, and I am just worried about what could happen if a vet is alone in a rural area, especially for a late night farm call.
Is this a reasonable worry? What have you all experienced?

Question about Connecticut Applicants

Feeling disheartened by apps :(
Hi everyone. I am 25F and feeling really hopeless when it comes to getting into veterinary school. This may be a long vent but I would also love some advice/anyone who has been in my boat. Best Post-Bac programs for Pre-Vet
Hi everyone,
I'm posting on behalf of my GF. She hasn't had super great success this cycle and wanted to look into possibly doing a post-bac program to strengthen her GPA to apply again. Does anyone have any recommendations for good programs? Most seem to be focused on pre-med students but would those be acceptable as well?
She is a CA resident with a 3.4 cGPA and 3.7 sGPA but is open to travel if need be.

How to handle debt?
This cycle has been both exciting and disappointing for me. I am very lucky to have received acceptances from vet schools except for my IS school (waitlisted, but unlikely to get off). My other struggle is that I need to report my parents' salaries based on my age, but I will not be receiving any financial assistance from them.
