WAMC- third time applicant, low(ish) gpa
Hi all! I'm a 25 F from VA. In the past I’ve only applied to two schools- VMCVM and UT, during the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 cycles. This will be my third time applying, but I’m expanding my list of schools to 13. Just looking for some feedback on my chances (and whether any of the schools I’m considering aren’t a good option). I’m in the process of finishing up a masters degree, so I’m definitely feeling better compared to past cycles. But, you never know!

Externship/Mentorship Questions
Hello!
I will be starting my second year in the fall. Until now my veterinary experience has come through jobs and not so much shadowing or mentorships. I was wondering what questions or things I should ask to do during my summer externship to get the most out of it. One is a mixed animal and the other is equine focused. Ultrasound certificate
Hey everyone! I'm an ER vet that is getting burnt out pretty quickly. I was curious if anyone had suggestions for abdominal ultrasound certifications? I'm not talking 1-2 days of CE, but an actual program to become very efficient. I have no interest in becoming boarded in radiology, I just want to become better trained with ultrasounds for a more thorough diagnostic work-up.

Will 2nd Quartile hurt my chances?
Hi all, this is my second ever time doing the Casper test and unfortunately, this time I scored 2nd quartile. I found the prompts difficult and hard to follow so I'm not surprised I scored the way I did. Right now I'm worrying about how it will look on my application. My GPA isn't the greatest so I was hoping Casper would help my app a little. I'm applying to both Iowa and Kansas with casper - I'm mostly worried about Iowa.
