What Residency Wants
I at times feel a little defeated when putting my all into vet school in hopes of pursing a residency post DVM but I feel my grades will hinder me on my application. Are there any success stories out there of individuals who was able to successfully get a residency position without being a straight A student? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Moving with kids for vet school
Hello everyone! I have been a lurker on this forum for a long time. I am an older applicant and I have 3 children between the ages 12-15. I have been planning to go to vet school for years but put it off when the kids were younger so I could work. I got my first interview invite and it has become more real to me that I will be uprooting my entire family for school. I only have one school near me (Tufts) and I doubt I will get in to that one, so a move is likely. Are there any other... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Spay/Neuter Learning Opportunities
Hi all! I'm a first-year vet student and was wondering if there are any programs or clinics in the NJ/NY area that are willing to teach first-year students how to perform spay/neuters? I know about the ASPCA program down south but they only take 4th year students and I want to stay close to home this summer. Please let me know if you've had any experiences! Just a bit nervous
Hi first year vet student who just finished orientation and is now waiting for school to start. I am starting to get a bit freaked out as I am scared of failing out of vet school and/or losing an important scholarship for school. I'm not going to lie in my undergrad I had to work super hard to understand and learn material so I'm worried I am going to fall behind and not make it the four years. Any advice for dealing with this? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Wamc c/o 2028
Hi y'all!! Hope everyone is doing well this Friday. Basically, I applied to: Auburn (In state and undergrad university), CSU, Iowa State, Tennessee, Tufts, Illinois, and Wisconsin. I am really interested in either Theriogenology/Reproductive science or Food animals or public health. I would LOVE to be a USDA public health veterinarian or be in the military. Like working for the government is my ultimate goal (isn't that funny). I would not mind being in a clinic, but my true passion lies... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)
