Neurological Involvement in Primary Systemic Vasculitis
Conclusion Neurological involvement is a common complication of PSV (Table 1), and neurologists play an important role in the identification and diagnosis of PSV patients with otherwise unexplained neurological symptoms as their chief complaint. Amelioration of ischemic brain damage by peritoneal dialysis
Ischemic stroke is a devastating condition, for which there is still no effective therapy. Acute ischemic stroke is associated with high concentrations of glutamate in the blood and interstitial brain fluid. The inability of the tissue to retain glutamate within the cells of the brain ultimately provokes neuronal death. Increased concentrations of interstitial glutamate exert further excitotoxic effects on healthy tissue surrounding the infarct zone. Clinical Features and Risk Factors of Mortality in Patients with Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome

Valacyclovir and Acyclovir Neurotoxicity With Status Epilepticus
We present the case of a 52-year-old man with hypertension, diastolic congestive heart failure, end-stage renal disease on hemodialysis 3 times a week and a remote history of a hemorrhagic stroke who presented to the emergency department with a vesicular rash on his left arm. Cognitive Impairment and Structural Neuroimaging Abnormalities Among Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease
Conclusion: Dialysis modality showed no association with cognitive impairment, although hemodialysis patients had more severe neuroimaging abnormalities. Assessment of right ventricular dysfunction in end-stage renal disease patients on maintenance haemodialysis by cardiac magnetic resonance imaging
Conclusions In ESRD patients on maintenance HD, RV function was impaired and associated with the deterioration of LV function. More importantly, the duration of dialysis was considered as a risk factor independently associated with RV dysfunction.
