Conclusions: In our prospective cohort, the literature-based formulas for calculation of PAP and PVR based on CMR-based measures could largely be validated. The best correlations were derived from multiparametric formulas including right ventricular ejection fraction.

Initial experience with percutaneous edge-to-edge transcatheter mitral valve repair in a tertiary medical center in Taiwan
Conclusion Trans-catheter edge-to-edge mitral valve repairs are safe and effective in Asians with symptomatic SMR, regarding the improvements of clinical symptoms and exercise capacities. MitraClips is also associated with reverse remodeling of pulmonary hypertension and left ventricular size in patients with SMR.

Mechanical Thrombectomy in an Infant with Acute Embolic Stroke
A 9-month-old previously healthy male infant was admitted with acute respiratory failure due to parainfluenza infection requiring intubation. On the day after admission, an acute pulmonary hypertension crisis causing cardiovascular collapse led to initiation of venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) with standard therapeutic anticoagulation. The following day, on routine neurologic assessment, the patient was noted to have bilateral fixed and dilated pupils. With decreased rates of sedative and paralytic infusions, he was noted to only move the left side of his body with preserved lower brainstem activity.

Invasive Hemodynamics and Rejection Rates in Patients with Cardiac Sarcoidosis After Heart Transplantation
Conclusions CS patients have similar post-transplant hemodynamics as non-CS patients, without evidence of RV dysfunction or pulmonary hypertension. No significant rejection nor recurrence of sarcoid in the allograft were observed in this cohort of patients with CS. Survival is similar between CS and non-CS patients. MRI-derived Regional Biventricular Function in Patients with Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension Before and After Pulmonary Endarterectomy
Conclusion While biventricular resynchronization and recovery of global predominantly RV function was observed, regional circumferential function mainly improved in the lateral and inferior walls of both ventricles and regional radial function in the RV wall and septum 12 days after PEA, suggesting fibers primarily affected by myocardial stress in patients with CTEPH possibly need a relatively longer recovery time.
