Talin1 is highly expressed in the fallopian tube and chorionic villi to promote trophoblast invasion in tubal pregnancy
CONCLUSION: The expression of Talin1 in the fallopian tube and chorionic villi is significantly increased in women with tubal pregnancy, suggesting the association of Talin1-regulated trophoblast cell invasion with the occurrence of tubal pregnancy.PMID:35527499 | PMC:PMC9085590 | DOI:10.12122/j.issn.1673-4254.2022.04.19

Exploring the molecular mechanisms underlie the endoplasmic reticulum stress-mediated methylmercury-induced neuronal developmental damage
Ecotoxicol Environ Saf. 2022 Sep 21;245:114099. doi: 10.1016/j.ecoenv.2022.114099. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTMethylmercury (MeHg) is a ubiquitous environmental pollutant, which can cross the placenta and blood brain barrier, thus affecting fetal growth and development. Although previous studies have demonstrated that MeHg induces endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress in rat cerebral cortex and primary neurons, the role of ER stress in MeHg-induced neurodevelopmental toxicity remains unclear. Here, we used ICR pregnant mice and hippocampal neurons cells (HT22 cells) to investigate the molecular mechanism by which MeHg expos...

The involvement of hormone-sensitive lipase in all-trans retinoic acid induced cleft palate
Int J Dev Biol. 2023 Jan 20. doi: 10.1387/ijdb.220137kz. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTAbnormally high concentrations of all-trans retinoic acid (atRA) induce cleft palate, which is accompanied by abnormal migration and proliferation of mouse embryonic palatal mesenchyme (MEPM) cells. Hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL) is involved in many embryonic development processes. The current study was designed to elucidate the mechanism of HSL in cleft palate induced by atRA. To establish a cleft palate model in Kunming mice, pregnant mice were administered atRA (70 mg/kg) by gavage at embryonic Day 10.5 (E10.5). Embryonic palates were...
