Education in medical billing benefits both neurology trainees and academic departments
The objective of residency training is to produce physicians who can function independently within their chosen subspecialty and practice environment. Skills in the business of medicine, such as clinical billing, are widely applicable in academic and private practices but are not commonly addressed during formal medical education. Physician Retention in the Same State as Residency Training: Data From 1 Michigan GME Institution (P1.037)
Conclusions:Nearly 50% of graduates from a single Michigan GME institution chose an in-state practice location. Graduates were highly likely to practice in-state if they completed their pre-GME education in-state. Turning Neurophobia into Neurophoria: A Needs Assessment of Medical Student Education (P2.370)

Changing Medical Student Perceptions of Dementia: An Arts-Centered Experience (P1.318)
CONCLUSIONS: Attendance at an art program for dementia patients and caregivers significantly improved dementia attitudes among pre-clinical medical students. Teaching Ophthalmoscopy to Medical Students (TOTeMS) II: A One-Year Retention Study (P1.325)

Educating Future Clinical Research Investigators: An 8-Week Clinical Research Education Course for Neurology Residents (P1.308)

Utilizing Additive Manufacturing in Medical Education of Neuropathology: A Feasibility Study (P4.183)
CONCLUSIONS: This feasibility study concluded with a successful prototype rendering of separate 3D representations of neuropathology using original imaging. The next step will be developing a process to render neuropathology in one object utilizing different materials. This study presents how motion pictures illustrate a person with cerebral palsy (CP), the social impact from the media, and the possibility of cerebral palsy education by using motion pictures. 937 motion pictures were reviewed in this study.
