Incidence, clinical characteristics, and outcome of interstitial pneumonia in patients with lymphoma
In conclusion, IP is a life-threatening complication in lymphoma patients. Glucocorticoid therapy with continuous monitoring of chest radiographic changes may be a favourable strategy for treating IP. However, IP may recur, especially in patients re-treated with a similar chemotherapy regimen.

Silicone breast implants and autoimmune rheumatic diseases: myth or reality
Purpose of review: In the present review, recent findings regarding silicone breast implants (SBIs) complicated by rheumatic autoimmune diseases are described.

New cancer drug can prevent reactions to common airborne allergens
(Northwestern University) A cancer drug for patients with certain types of leukemia and lymphoma can also prevent reactions to some of the most common airborne allergies, according to a recent Northwestern Medicine study. The promising data from this pilot study could have greater implications for adults with food allergies.

Abstract PR03: Association of environmental risk factors, family history, and polygenic risk scores with chronic lymphocytic leukemia
Conclusions: We found evidence of independent effects among the genetic and non-genetic factors with risk of CLL. Among these factors, the PRS had the largest effect size. Although we did not observe any statistical interactions, larger sample sizes are warranted to fully evaluate these effects on risk of CLL. We are currently increasing our sample size through collaboration with other research groups. Miami woman says six different doctors misdiagnosed her cancer as a cough
Jessica DeCristofaro, 28, from Miami, had a constant cough which was misdiagnosed as allergies, acid reflux and a pulled muscle. She actually had Hodgkin lymphoma, a rare form of cancer.

Eosinophils are granulocytic leukocytes residing in blood and tissues in the lung, breast, gastrointestinal and reproductive systems. Eosinophilia is uncommon in healthy individuals, however, it is associated with allergies, helminth infections and some inflammatory states. Common Immune-Related Exposures/Conditions and Risk of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma: A Case-Control Study of Disease-Discordant Twin Pairs
We evaluated the association between common immune system–altering experiences and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) risk using a case-control study of 162 like-sex twin pairs discordant for NHL, identified from the International Twin Study.
