Comparison of convolutional-neural-networks-based method and LCModel on the quantification of in vivo magnetic resonance spectroscopy
CONCLUSION: In conclusion, the CNN based method with the proposed scaling procedures can be employed to quantify in vivo MRS spectra and derive metabolites concentrations in IU. Neuroprotective Potential of Tannic Acid Against Neurotoxic Outputs of Monosodium Glutamate in Rat Cerebral Cortex
This study was conducted to assess the neurotoxic and neuroprotective effects of these two dietary components in the rat cerebral cortex. Twenty-four Sprague Dawley rats were divided into 4 equal groups and were treated with MSG (2 g/kg) and TA (50 mg/kg) alone and in combination for 3 weeks. Incorporating Interprofessional Education into a Required Introductory Pharmacy and Nursing Didactic Course
CONCLUSION: Including joint IPE sessions in a foundational didactic course was a feasible and successful IPE component. Sessions provided students with experience practicing foundational skills for interprofessional communication and teamwork. CONCLUSIONS: The sociodemographic characteristics of LCS participants in Philadelphia varied by health system and neighborhood. These results suggest that a multi-center approach to LCS can identify vulnerable areas for future tailored approaches to improving LCS uptake.
