Ketamine improves neuronal recovery following spreading depolarization in peri ‐infarct tissues
We examined spreading depolarization (SD) waves in a mouse stroke model. SDs were initiated by focal potassium chloride application and propagated through a region of graded perfusion deficit created by distal middle cerebral artery (dMCA) occlusion. Levosimendan improves contractility in vivo and in vitro in a rodent model of post‐myocardial infarction heart failure
ConclusionIn HF animals LEV improved the contractility by increasing the Ca2+ sensitivity. Furthermore loading conditions were changed, and LEV could consequently change organ perfusion. Diastolic blood pressure has a J-curve relationship with coronary heart disease and death. Because this association is thought to reflect reduced coronary perfusion at low diastolic blood pressure, we hypothesized that the J-curve would be most pronounced among persons with coronary artery calcium. Among 6,811 participants from the Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis, we used Cox models to examine if diastolic blood pressure category is associated with coronary heart disease events, stroke, and mortality.

Association between vascular calcification in intracranial vertebrobasilar circulation and luminal stenosis

Role of TRPV1 in electroacupuncture-mediated signal to the primary sensory cortex during regulation of the swallowing function
CONCLUSION: The TRPV1 at CV23 after EA treatment might play a key role in mediating local blood perfusion but was not involved in transferring EA signals to the central nervous system (CNS).
