Conclusions: Up to date, no data about PCIS and IVT are available from RTCs. Based on limited results from retrospective clinical studies and case series, IVT is safer for use in PCIS than in ACIS. Patients with brainstem ischemia, vertebral artery occlusion, and absence of basilar or posterior cerebral artery occlusion could be considered for treatment with IVT even in borderline cases. Conclusions: The present study showed that CST integrity (at 6 months after onset) in patients with chronic stroke was related to functional hand status. What stroke image do we want? European survey on acute stroke imaging and revascularisation treatment
ConclusionThe diagnostic workup and, to a greater extent, the revascularisation treatments of typical stroke patients vary considerably across European countries. This study reinforces the need to compare the quality of stroke care in terms of process and outcomes between countries. Research is also needed to investigate the cost-effectiveness of second-line imaging strategies in acute stroke care.

Endovascular treatment for ischemic stroke with the drip-and-ship model —Insights from the German Stroke Registry
ConclusionsClinical outcome was worse for EVT-eligible patients in the DS setting, even though patients were in a better state of health prior to stroke. A potentially mutable factor was the time delay of 99 min from symptom-onset to successful recanalization. Diagnostic and treatment standards for cerebral sinus venous thrombosis : Results of an online survey of German stroke units.
