Advice on clinical experience
Hi folks,
I am a non-trad premed with vast experience in finance.
To get clinical experience I applied to work as a Medical Assistant in a chain pediatrics clinic in NYC. Additionally, I also applied for a medical scribe position at a chain urgent care facility called CityMD. Despite having no certification, I got offered both positions.

Wife is a Pediatric ENT, If I Join the Army Through the HPSP How does that Affect Her Career?

Fellowship interviews - reading too much into interview schedule order
The classic paranoia mid-interview season is setting in for me. I've had 6 fellowship interviews so far and for all 6 I have been scheduled last with the PD. At first I thought nothing of it, but now with the sixth schedule in hand, I'm starting to feel a little paranoid that I'm being seen at the end of the day consistently when all the PDs are tired. PICU vs MICU (complexity of management/procedures/on-your-feet thinking, etc)
Hey all,
I was deadset on EM/PEM when I first entered med school, then the wave of doom and gloom had me switch focus and I tentatively looked towards Med/Peds. As I've gone through my rotations, I loved working with kids, I loved working with complex problems, and I loved the MICU. The thing is, I wont be able to get any PICU experience until after ERAS, and so deciding between IM and Peds is becoming difficult (Med/Peds really just being a back-up due to decision crisis heh).

IM Residency LoR selection
So I have 2 LoR options for IM residency:
1) IM Telerotation one year ago
2) Pediatric hands-on rotation this summer
Both of these letters are recommending me to IM program.
Between those two, which one has bigger value for IM program?
