Vituity Partnership question
Thinking about signing with vituity. Does anyone know if you can advance up the partnership ranking only doing 100 hours a month instead of the full time 125 hours per month?? Seems like 1500 hours + 12 months is necessary for advancement. Just couldn’t get a straight answer if you have to be over the 125 monthly hours to qualify. It’s the weekend and can’t talk to anyone with vituity directly. Thanks (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Clinical Volunteering Abroad: Voluntourism?
Hey everyone. As a part of a school fellowship, for almost three months, I got a chance to work abroad with a locally led grassroots NGO that works with local experts on their rural community health and development projects. I had the opportunity to assist on some of the organization’s projects (such as sanitation presentations and health trainings in local schools), and I also had a chance to work for a rural health clinic in partnership with the NGO and worked at patient intake by taking... Private practice partnership track associate LOI
I just received a LOI for a private practice partnership track position that seems like an ideal fit professionally and personally. I plan to have a lawyer review everything but just wanted to get some other feedback as I'm not as familiar with these sorts of contracts as with academic contracts. The terms: associate compensation $280k + CME + malpractice, licensing, etc + $10k relocation bonus, 2 years to shareholder, $8k buy-in, shareholder compensation incremental over 3 years to full... MSUCHM vs OUWB
MSU CHM Pros: True P/F preclinical Less frequent exams Cheaper Tuition Cheaper cost of living for my current situation Early clinical experience More established school New partnership with Henry Ford Cons: A bit more primary care/rural driven (as of now I am planning on specializing, however they have had derm and plastic surgery matches recently) Not guaranteed that I will be able to be where I want in M3/M4 Unable to see recent match list... Book Reviews on Social Media as Hobby?
So I'm an avid book reader, and a friend and I started an Instagram account dedicated to reviewing books, providing recommendations, etc. It sort of died down but I did it for about 2 years, had around 2k followers, and we had some small partnership deals with various bookish brands over the years. Could I put this as a hobby on my application and just kinda describe what I did as above (and would I need to include the instagram handle)? Or would social media/influencer related activities... Joining a practice and getting partnership
The hot topic always during job interviews with private practice is "Is there an opportunity for partnership?" I always hear stories about people not getting partnership in the end, or the offer they received was a total joke and not at all what they envisioned. This might be good for new fellows to read. Who here joined a practice and obtained partnership in the end? Were you satisfied? Were you screwed? Did they go back on their word? Any positive or negative experiences... OU-HCOM (Cleveland) vs. NEOMED
Hello, I need help choosing between these two schools and before you instantly write the MD program (NEOMED), I would like you to consider OU-HCOM’s Cleveland campus pros because they are unique for a DO program. I am currently considering pediatric cardiology or pediatric gastroenterology as my most likely choices after medical school. Both have a 3 year IM(pediatric) residency followed by a 3 year fellowship. OU-HCOM (Cleveland) Pros: Partnership with the Cleveland Clinic (second... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)
