Difficulty recruiting
Our group is a private group in Tampa, FL. We are recruting but have had struggle attracting candidates. It used to be that we would post jobs on the ASTRO board and get tons of applicants, now we struggle to get any. We are a private group that is lifestyle friendly (4 days per week) and partnership track. It appears most applicants these days prefer employed jobs at academic health systems. Where do physicians go these days to apply for jobs, if they're not using the ASTRO board... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Please help evaluate partnership
Hi everyone, I’m having trouble deciding about buying in as a partner to my primary care practice. I’m torn between doing this and leaving for another job. I’m located in the NE outside of a major city. I currently make 215K working 4 days a week as an employee hours are 8-5 and I’m on call roughly once a week plus one weekend out of every 7 (have to work a few hours on Saturdays on those weekends). I see at least 18+ patients a day, and I frequently have to cover our walk ins clinic... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Career Guidance Needed
I am early-mid career Emergency Medicine, currently W2 employed by a large hospital system and have been given the opportunity to join an independent democratic group. Their partnership track seems fair (2 years; minimally more hours than I work now). Their pre-partner pay is essentially the same as I make now (maybe even a little more), which makes the financial risk of joining essentially zero. Obviously, there are significant benefits once you make partner. Current job: I've stagnated... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)
