IvyClinicians Salary ACEP Link
I think I got linked to this from some ACEP message or email. Anyway, I wish someone had done this a long time ago. Lots of salaries posted already. Lots of W2, SDG Partners, SDG Partnership tracks, CMG 1099. C'mon all you Daddy Warbuck SDG Partners who are supposedly killing it. Make your contributions because I'm sure not seeing anything very exciting from the SDG pool. AAEM-PG affiliation for independent group
Is anyone familiar with AAEM-PG? I know they help independent EM groups but was curious if/how they manage the groups they work with. I’m interested in a group that is part of AAEM-PG but the current partnership structure seems exploitative towards new hires (paying less than $135/hr for 2 years before you can become a partner). I support and want to be a part of an independent EM group but when the option is this vs. a CMG paying substantially more then I can see why CMGs are taking... How does partnership work?
How does becoming a partner in a group alter your pay/work structure? Are the salaries that people post including the bump in pay from becoming a partner? Do partners have additional responsibilities? Thanks (Source: Student Doctor Network)

OMFS - Anyone worked for ClearChoice?
Hi all, Anyone have any experience or feedback on ClearChoice? I signed a contract with a private practice group with track to partnership in 2 years, very flexible in terms of scope, whatever you want to do. Recently heard about ClearChoice from a friend, they advertise working 4 mornings a week with twice as much pay compared to private practice (4.5 days). Please shed some lights on this if you can. If it's such an amazing deal, why aren't people taking on such jobs? Thank you. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

SDG job consideration-Predatory or the norm?
I’m looking into EM attending jobs in a new city and wanted to get feedback regarding an SDG job that I’ve come across. Medium cost of living city with a stable private democratic group that has had the hospital system contract for 30+ years. They have a stable contract with a specific health system staffing 3 of their hospitals in the metroplex. Partnership track: sweat equity buy-in for 2 years with a base salary of $220k for 1620 hours/year. W2 with subsidized health insurance, fully... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Private equity starting salary
I just received a verbal offer from a PE-owned practice and I was a little surprised at how low the base salary was (anterior seg, first job after fellowship, mid-sized city in the central US). I feel like it would be a competitive starting salary in a private practice, but I was under the impression base salaries were higher in PE due to the inability to attain partnership/equity and thus an overall lower earning ceiling. Curious what kind of offers people have received from PE and what... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Earning potential in IM lifestyle specialities
How likely can one break north of 400k in the following 3 subspecialties of IM: endocrine, rheumatology, allergy/immunology, sports medicine? That's given an employed position or private practice with no partnership opportunities. Location: West coast preferably. Hours worked: 4-4.5 days a week, 8 hour days. I like being in the clinic more than being in the hospital. Don't mind being a PCP either, it's satisfying work, but very hard work having to deal with charting and inbox and every... What else to ask for in contract negotiations
Do you all have any suggestions for additional clauses to include in your contract during negotiations? Anything you wish you had negotiated or added? Any unique "asks"? I'm aware to always negotiate non competes, salary, partnership details etc but just curious if there were some other ideas. Thanks!!! (Source: Student Doctor Network)
