Key Clinical MessageIn this case report we describe a patient with Grave's disease (GD) who was first diagnosed with pancytopenia and did not have any typical symptoms of GD. His hematologic abnormalities were alleviated after treatment with an anti-thyroid drug. Clinical presentation An 81-year-old white man presented with 2 weeks of odynophagia and dysphagia to solids and liquids limiting his oral intake and leading to 5 lb weight loss.
