Evaluation of patient reported outcome measures and costs of managing osteoarthritis of the hip
The objective of this study is to evaluate patient-report- ed outcomes and hospital costs of hip replacement six months after surgery. Both generic (EQ-5D) and specific (HOOS) PROMs of general hospital patients undergoing hip replacement surgery in 2021 were conducted. The results of these PROMs were then combined with financial and health management data. CONCLUSION: Renal artery thrombosis in young people is extremely rare and presents a diagnostic and management challenge requiring input from multiple teams including nephrology, rheumatology, paediatrics and vascular surgery. Nontraumatic orbital hematoma secondary to labor and childbirth: a case report and review of the literature
ConclusionsNon-traumatic orbital hematomas associated with maternal labor are rare and likely related to increased valsalva during delivery and heightened blood volume in pregnancy. Differential relationships between physical activity and pain phenotypes in individuals with spinal cord injury
CONCLUSION: Differential relationships exist between pain phenotypes and MVPA in individuals with SCI. Pain location differed between the subgroups of nociceptive pain, which we presume may indicate the presence of nociplastic pain in some individuals.
