Cone Beam Computed Tomography-Based Evaluation of the Accuracy of Implant Surgery with Conventional (Free Hand) Implant Placement vs Computer Fabricated 3D Guide Implant Placement
ConclusionThe results showed that there is no statistically significant difference between mean coronal deviation, mean apical deviation and mean angular deviation of planned and placed implants in both conventional technique (free hand technique) and computer fabricated 3D guide aided implant placement technique. Hence, this study concluded that conventional technique of implant placement is equally efficient in comparison with computer fabricated guide aided surgery in terms of accuracy of implant placement. Rehabilitation of Reconstructed Maxilla Using Denture-Guided Epithelial Regeneration in DCIA Flap: 10-Year Follow-Up
AbstractThis 10-year follow-up report describes the interdisciplinary comprehensive management of a patient with aneurysmal bone cyst of the maxilla in a 24-year-old patient. The treatment included resection and primary reconstruction with vascularized deep circumflex iliac artery-based composite free flap, implant placement, and peri-implant soft tissue management using denture-guided epithelial regeneration with interim dentures. Definitive management was done using implant-supported cast partial dentures, and the patient followed up for 10  years. (Source: Journal of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery)

Treatment of Post-traumatic Facial Deformities
ConclusionRestoring the normal bony architecture should be the initial consideration unless the quantity or quality of the soft tissue envelope is inadequate to protect the osseous reconstruction. The purpose of this study is to evaluate post-traumatic facial deformities and simulation and organization of all the treatment modalities in a sequential manner. Dermal Regeneration Template: Reconstruction in Oral Cancer Defects
ConclusionsGiven our experience, we would advise using dermal substitutes when reconstructing oral defects only after a cautious evaluation of the area of the lesion, the gap size, the possible adherence of the membrane to the gap, and the presence of tissue supporting the overlying membrane. Cone Beam Computed Tomography Analysis of Posterior-Superior Alveolar Canal from a Fixed Reference Point: Implications for Sinus Floor Elevation Procedure through Lateral Approach
ConclusionThe PSAA can be visualized in CBCT scans with a prevalence of 76.11% and may not be detected when adherent to the sinus membrane. This study stresses on the need for a CBCT, prior to sinus surgeries through lateral approach, to assess the PSAA. (Source: Journal of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery)
