Overanalyzing Buggers
So DS is 6 and until about 6 months ago, never had a bugger. What I'm trying to figure out is does this say anything about his CF sinus functioning...He hasn't seemed to have any sinus issues, but I want to make sure what to look for. He smells very easily; never complains of headaches; his nose runs when he throws a fit/cries or during treatment. The buggers are "normal" as far as I can tell (I say as far as I can tell as I think the carriers stuff hits me, as I have very and frequent thick mucus and GI issues, so who knows if my "normal" is really "normal" in that compartment. So any t...

Help with Sinuses. Recommendations needed to break up sinus junk!
Hi guys, Does anyone have GOOD recommendations on how to break up sinus mucus/junk? Here is my situation.. I've had 4 sinus surgeries now, 2 clean outs and 2 drilling, and my sinuses STILL get blocked! When I say blocked, what I'm talking about is I literally have sinus pressure headaches every day, some days ibuprofen, tylenol, mucinex, and sudafed dont even take care of it. I do sinus rinses 2-3 times a day using distilled water, essential oils, 1 tablespoon of pickling salt, and .5 tablespoon of baking soda. I've used essential oils on outside of skin to help relieve pain and pressure but nothing majorly helps. I occ...

Is medicine the career for me?
Hey everyone I was planning to study medicine, but didn't get in. So I went onto a computer science course, however, I dropped out as I disliked the course and the maths too.I am now on a gap year and unsure whether medicine is the right course for me and whether I should re-apply. Pros: I enjoy biology in general, and to some extent interested in body anatomy I am better in biology than in maths I like to say I am a medical student Cons : Medicine course is 5 years, which I feel is long, and in addition to that there are training years. I at times feel squeamish (I noticed this in biology dissection lessons in High ...
