Hospitalist to Endocrinology fellowship
I am hospitalist (Nocturnist) 2 years out of residency, I don’t think this is sustainable for me in the long run and would like to apply to Endocrinology July 2023, I only have one case report in my CV. I haven’t thought I would apply to fellowship ever. I’m IMG. Will have Green card when I apply. My question is what should I do until then to make my CV look better? Do I have time if I want to add more research or should I wait for another year to apply? I appreciate any advice, thank you (Source: Student Doctor Network)

What specialty should I pursue? please advise a lost 3rd year!
HELP! I'm looking for advice. I'm in my 3rd rotation of 3rd year and suddenly I'm so confused about what direction to go for residency. Getting ready to start this year, Psych was at the top of my list. Actually really Family med/Psych or the triple board for pediatric/adolescent psych was what I wanted to do. What I really dreaded and was 100% sure I did not want to do is surgery and was pretty sure I didn't want to do IM except maybe I was interested in endocrinology. Now I'm 2/3... How to balance finances and interests when choosing specialty?
Hi all. I'm having an existential crisis right now, and my future choice of specialty has been on my mind. For context, I'm currently an MD-PhD student. I do a lot of clinical/scientific work on diabetes. So for the longest time, I truly wanted to go into endocrinology because it was the natural decision if I wanted to study/work with diabetes. Lately, a lot of family developments have made me reconsider if endocrinology is financially feasible, especially as a physician-scientist. I don't... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Switching from GI to endocrinology
Hi, I started my GI fellowship and completed 8 months of first year now. My interest for the field is lost (Quit GI) and would like to switch to a specialty with (in no specific order) Good lifestyle Interest for specialty Decent money Less liability I'm considering endocrinology and would like to apply in upcoming match. Is it difficult to obtain endo fellowship considering all my 40 plus research papers are in GI not related to endo?! (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Biased moderation - Podiatry attending forum
Hello, I would like to file a complaint against moderator @DexterMorganSK who is the podiatry attending moderator. There has been some heated debating/discussion recently in the podiatry attending forum secondary to some threads posted by a podiatrist by the name of Dr. Lee Rogers DPM @diabeticfootdr. He is the president of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is creating some controversy in the podiatry profession currently by trying to change the board examination...
