How do I know if I'm a better candidate for MD programs vs MD/PhD Programs?
I'm currently applying for the 2023/2024 med-school cycle. I have over 3000 research hours (3yrs of working in a lab), 1 pending first author publication, but I also have a few hundred shadowing hours in rad onc, neurology, as well as tutoring and clinical volunteer experience. I'm absolutely certain that I want to do Medicine, but I don't know if I am a better candidate for MD PHD or just MD. Adjuvant clobazam
Dear colleagues, I am not a neurologist but I just wanted to learn something. Psychiatry vs Neurosurgery
Was anyone else ever making this decision? I do realize they are basically the polar opposite of specialties. What drew you one direction over the other? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Locums vs tele
1) is it possible to find locum or tele jobs where I can only do 3-5 days a month to add on to my hospitalist job? 2) are there any telestroke only jobs or do I always have to do general neurology too? ( just want to see acute stroke consults ) 3) which one pays more, locums or tele? (Source: Student Doctor Network)
