Mutation of FLNA attenuating the migration of abdominal muscles contributed to Melnick –Needles syndrome (MNS) in a family with recurrent miscarriage
ConclusionOur research revealed a mutation site of theFLNA for MNS and explored the mechanism of midline structure dysplasia in the abdominal wall of male patients, which could provide more evidence for the clinical diagnosis and genetic counseling of families with these disorders. Impact of Social Vulnerability on Long-Term Growth Outcomes in Sutureless Versus Sutured Repair of Gastroschisis
Conclusion Sutureless and sutured gastroschisis repairs result in similar growth and long-term outcomes. Patients living in areas with greater social vulnerability may be at increased risk of poor weight gain. Patients should be followed at least through their first year to ensure appropriate growth.
