ConclusionConsumption of MD and LFD for 12  weeks in adolescents with obesity and NAFLD reduced BMI, fat mass, hepatic steatosis, and insulin resistance, improved high transaminase levels, and had positive effects on inflammation and oxidative stress.Registered underClinicalTrials.gov Identifier no.
