Clinical significance of post-treatment viral load of cytomegalovirus in patients with hematologic malignancies.
CONCLUSIONS: In patients with hematologic diseases suffering CMV viremia, failure to eradicate viremia after antiviral therapy indicates a higher chance of mortality and can be regarded as a useful indicator in evaluating the patient's long-term prognosis.
